Documents

Any trip that you have booked will require some paperwork of some sort, even if it is a digital copy. It’s best to make sure you have all of the documents you may need to hand weeks before you fly, this means that you are able to track down any missing paperwork in advance rather than last minute. Booking Confirmation- Including your hotel reference number.
Boarding Passes- You won’t get these until check-in if you haven’t checked in online.

Packing Essentials

Packing for every holiday can be a little bit of a love it or hate it kind of task, It doesn’t need to be tedious though, you just need to make sure you have some of the essentials with you in order to make your trip run smoothly and avoid any mishaps.

You don’t want to go overboard and end up paying for heavy luggage at check-in but you also want to make sure you have everything you need. Here are a few essentials you should make sure you have on your sunny vacation abroad:

Swimwear- Definitely one of the most important items for lounging next to the pool and on the beach. Depending on how long you go for 2-4 swimwear items that can be washed in the sink will be enough.
Cover-Ups- Whether it’s a pair of ray-ban clubmaster, a floppy beach hat, sarong or cap make sure you have the right items to cover up when you’re in peak hours of the day if you can you should make sure you stay out of the sun during the hottest points.
Clothing- you’re going to want to take cool clothing with you for the day time such as shorts vests, t-shirts, dresses and then a few evening outfits for when you are out. Make sure you check for any restrictions such as needing to wear long pants in the restaurants.
Shoes- Depending on the amount of activity you are doing you will need to take, a comfortable walking pair, flip flops/sandals for the beach and pool and then a smart pair for the evenings. It’s worth researching what type of beach there is as water shoes may be needed too.
