Homemade Farmhouse Clothesline Pumpkin Decor

Halloween may have passed but that’s no excuse not to make some homemade Autumn-themed decor for your home. I have my homemade crochet pumpkins on display for most of the year, they just remind me of my favourite time of year!
It’s amazing what you can make with just a few run of the mill household items, some hot glue and some inspiration. This adorable farmhouse style pumpkin takes only a few minutes to make and it makes for a delightful addition to any Autumn decor. Why not whip up a few of your own and celebrate the season?
Supplies:
- Dollar Tree Pineapple décor
- Clothesline
- Hot glue gun & glue
- Scissors
- Cork from a wine bottle
- Raffia
Instructions:
- First unwrap the tinsel from around the pineapple.
- Add a line of hot glue to the bottom edge of the pineapple and curl the clothesline around the shape, placing it on top of the glue.
- Repeat this process, glueing and sticking the clothesline in a spiral shape until you reach the top of the pineapple.
- At the very top add glue to the inner side of the clothesline to form the top section,.
- Cut the clothesline when you have a gap big enough to fit the cork in the top.
- You can add a small line of hot glue to the wine cork to make sure that it securely stayed inside the top of the pumpkin.
- Use 2 pieces of raffia to make a bow around the wine cork at top of the pumpkin.
