Start with the Right Bed

Choose the Right Ratios
There’s also a golden ratio when it comes to the size of the furniture relative to the room. Ideally, you want to have at least 30% of the room free for walking, and it can’t be scattered. You want to have an uninterrupted walk path that allows you to access both sides of the bed. Your bed and furniture shouldn’t occupy more than 60% of the room. The remaining 10% can be left for miscellaneous items.
Gadget Management and Placement
If you have tons of electronics in your bedroom, know that it doesn’t make for the best environment for sleep. First, that’s a lot of distraction, but the light they emit will have to be shielded so it doesn’t interfere with your sleep rhythms.
