Introducing IDentity Lingerie

I love learning about new brands offering something a little bit special, especially when it comes to clothing or lingerie. As a plus-size lady, it can often be hard to find comfortable and pretty garments which I actually love to wear, most of the items I own are practical everyday items which I wouldn’t particularly consider special but it is really nice to have some luxurious pieces that make you feel special when wearing them.

This is why I was particularly excited when Identity Lingerie got in touch offering me the chance to review some of their beautiful garments. One look at their website (here) and I fell in love! Not only are they are small family-run, ethically minded business from the UK but they offer high-quality, environmentally friendly products including a mind-blowing custom design service! You need only talk to them for a minute to realise just how passionate, customer-focused and totally genuine they are.

Founded in 2017, Identity Lingerie is driven by passion and desire to bring positive changes into our society, with a small handmade production allowing them to make much higher quality and custom pieces. Each garment is a unique, handmade item made by a happy team of highly skilled artisans and comes with a lifetime guarantee.

So, what items did I choose to review? The first item that really caught my eye on their website was the stunning Burgundy Paisley Satin Shorts Pyjama Set – the gorgeous paisley pattern and colours were impossible to resist. I also spotted the Black Supportive Longline Lace Bralette and matching Black Lace Strappy Panties. Last, but not least, I couldn’t help but find the Black Satin Lace Dressing Gown irresistible, I am sure you can see why! All three were custom made specifically for my measurements!

You can’t help but feel sexy and confident when wearing the gorgeous silky satin pyjama set. If I could get away with it I would wear these all day (luckily I work from home!) I love the luxurious satin fabric, the perfect fit and the flattering shape. These are definitely going to be a firm favourite for the foreseeable future!

I have to admit that working from home is the perfect excuse to avoid having to wear uncomfortable underwear. No one is going to see me so why suffer through wearing a wired bra when I can get away with something more comfortable? The strappy lace bralette has a wide under band making it super comfy and the padded cups make sure the ‘girls’ are just as comfortable as well as gently supported. I also think the thin straps and back are super sexy. The matching knickers are made from the same lovely soft fabric and lace with matching sexy straps for the full head to toe look.

I often struggle to find dressing gowns or robes which fully close or wrap around my curves, so I was delighted when my custom robe arrived. The satin lace dressing down is designed to make you feel sexy and elegant, which it certainly does. It is a luxurious lightweight kimono-style gown and I just can’t get enough of the stunning lacey sleeves and trim. It’s truly a pleasure to wear.

Identity Lingerie has fast become a firm favourite and will be my go-to for future purchases, I can’t recommend them enough! I award them 5 out of 5 for providing truly beautiful, comfortable garments which make me extraordinarily happy!
