Recipe: Mixed Berry Frozen Margarita
Who can resist a margarita? Usually made of tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice and served with salt on the rim of the glass this cocktail is a popular tipple that can be enjoyed shaken with ice, without ice or blended with ice.
For a traditional margarita, you would shake the ingredients with ice, pour into the glass, rub the rim of the glass with the lime slice to make the salt stick to it, garnish and serve over ice.
There are many, many other adaptations of the margarita. Try a spicy version using jalapeno and Blanco, a smoky version using Sombra Mezcal or a summer-inspired option using strawberry puree. You can make lots of different margaritas using different fruit, in fact, this recipe is inspired by berries which are known as being a brain-boosting food!
