Review: Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion
As I’ve mentioned before I have dry, sensitive skin and I like to try out different products to see if I can help hydrate and nourish it from masks to moisturisers.
So, when one of the assistants in the Body Shop offered to show me their Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion which has been designed to boost hydration and leave skin feeling soft, smooth and replenished I decided to give it a go.
The Vitamin E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion can be incorporated into a daily or weekly skincare regime. It is powered by Biofermented Hyaluronic Acid and offers antioxidant properties protect against free radicals.
The lotion has a pleasant lightweight, jelly-like but non-greasy texture which applies neatly to the face with a cotton pad or fingertips and feels comfortable on the skin.
I used mine every morning. It is best to apply after cleansing and before moisturising. I was surprised at how fast it absorbed, taking only a few moments to sink in before I can apply my moisturiser which means it doesn’t take up any extra time in the morning.
So, how has my skin been? Although it does sometimes feel a little tight towards the end of the day, I have definitely felt a difference. My skin feels smoother and I find myself not needing to moisturise every night before bed.
For an extra boost be sure to exfoliate before using the lotion, I really like the Drops of Light Pure Resurfacing Liquid Peel from The Body Shop and use it a couple of times a week.
I award the Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion 5 out of 5 stars for soothing my dry skin and boosting the effectiveness of my moisturiser.
