Review: Cornerstone New Razor | Stylish London Living

You might remember that a while ago I reviewed the Cornerstone Male Grooming subscription box, so when I was offered the chance to check out their new razor I was happy to check out the updated product.

Just to remind you, Cornerstone supplies quality engineered razors and British-blended skincare products via a handy subscription, sending everything you need for a smooth, comfortable shave right to your door.

In our previous review, my husband stated that he had been very impressed with the razors which give him one of the smoothest shaves that he’s ever had. However, some customers had some feedback for the brand which happily they have taken on board for their newest blades.

The new razor is made of 5 sharp blades spaced in an optimal formation to ensure top performance and reduced clogging for a smoother shave. There is an aloe vera strip which has been added to help the blades glide over the skin as well as a precision trimmer, as requested by customers, for hard to reach areas.

The new blades are made from Japanese chromium steel and coated with a layer of titanium and diamond grade carbon which slows the blunting of the cutting edge to ensure the blades stay sharper for longer. The handle has been reworked to offer a better grip which unfortunately makes it not compatible with the original blades, but the set of new blades accompanying it will fit perfectly.

Cornerstone has generously offered to replace any extra handles which may have been purchased. They will also ensure that your new handle(s) will be personalised with your initials if you had an engraved handle before.

Vlad has found that the new handle and blades offer the same exceptional shave as the previous ones, noting that the precision trimmer is an excellent addition for a complete groom. He awards it 5 out of 5 stars.
