Review: Flavour Boss Vaping Range

Flavour Boss Vaping Range

Vlad has been vaping for a few years now and he loves getting the chance to try new products and e-juices so he was happy to test out the range from Flavour Boss when they offered him the chance.

Having gotten used to receiving little bottles of e-juice to try he was surprised and intrigued when instead he was sent a Boss Shot, a one-shot concentrate, and bottles of PG and VG for him to make his own e-juice! He was also sent some vaping hardware alongside to try out.

Although he was somewhat bemused at first, having realised he was getting much more bang for his buck he was duly impressed. The Boss Shot system offers amazing value vaping liquid. Gone are the days of spending £10 on 30ml of liquid (30 pence per millilitre). This is how he got on.

With the boss shot, you spend £15 on the actual flavouring itself, which is enough to make 500ml of liquid, which comes with enough PG and VG to make it up to your liking. That means that the price per ml comes down to 3 pence per ml, which is 10 times cheaper! Nicotine is sold separately, which will bring the price up somewhat.

The flavour boss website lists the cost of vaping to be £30 per month using traditional juices and £10 using flavour boss chemistry sets – which I think is a very conservative value and the real cost is much lower. They have a handy calculator that can be used to give you the amounts of VG and PG to add to the boss shot and this can be found here: https://flavour-boss.co.uk/bosscalc/

The drawback, of course, is that you are then “stuck” with vaping 500 ml of the same flavour, although this is no bad thing if you like the flavour. Flavour boss sell sample 10ml bottles of premade liquids, so you get a chance to buy the samples before you decide on a flavour that may suit.

Flavour boss were nice enough to send a bunch of flavours. Some firm, new favourites are Stripple, Tropical typhoon and Pink Lemonade. The flavours are clean, refreshing and the 70/30 VG/PG mix performs beautifully in sub-ohm tanks. I will be buying more. I wasn’t a huge fan of the pudding flavours (Biscuit Eater, etc) but that’s down to personal preference; I can imagine that a pudding fan would be bowled over.

Flavour boss were also kind enough to send out a Wismec REULEAUX and 3 Samsung SDI (INR18650-30Q) batteries which between them pack 9000 mAh, meaning that I can go 2-3 days between recharging the device. I used my own Cleito EXO tank on the box mod as I’m familiar with it. It’s my first box mod and so far, I’m very happy with it. The only slight drawback is that it’s very bulky, but that’s an expected trade-off.

The flavour boss e-liquids also perform beautifully in the Aspire Pockex that we were sent. A perfect little device for times when a smaller sub-ohm tank is needed. It’s discreet in both size as well as the cloud that it produces, if that is a concern. Not to mention that the Pockex can be used for mouth to lung vaping, which means that it emulates the feel of a traditional cigarette.

All in all – nothing but praise for the e-liquids that Flavour Boss produce, I award them 5 out of 5 for quality of product, flavour and of course value!Flavour Boss Vaping Range
