Review: Personalised Father’s Day Gifts from Printster
Are you looking forward to Father’s Day? Father’s Day is a holiday of honouring fatherhood and paternal bonds including grandfathers and fathers-in-law as well as the influence of fathers in society. Different countries celebrate this day on different dates and in different ways.
It entered British popular culture sometime after the Second World War and is celebrated on the third Sunday of June. Many people make a special effort to visit their fathers or to send them a card or gifts.
You know, it’s not that far off so it might be time to start thinking about what you want to get your dad, or Father figure, to celebrate this day. Traditional gifts are ties, socks, underwear, sweaters, slippers, tools, luxury food items or drinks. However, the increase in print-on-demand services has made it super quick and easy to make personalised gifts.
It’s usually a bit tough for me when it comes to choosing a gift for my Dad for Father’s Day. Outside of sweet treats, a tipple and some books related to his main hobby of metal detecting/archaeology, I can run out of original ideas pretty quickly. So when Printster got in touch offering me the chance to review a few items from their personalised gift range I was super happy to get involved.
Prinster has been producing personalised products for UK consumers for nearly 15 years. Their range includes personalised mugs, socks, wrapping paper, face masks, keyrings and more. For my review, I picked out some items which I thought my dad would enjoy for Father’s Day in June.
Keep Calm and “Any Caption” Mug – Black
Who doesn’t love a good mug? Especially one that’s been personalised especially for you. I love the early World War II poster inspired “Keep Calm and” designs so when I saw this I knew I had to pick it. This mug features the original slogan plus your personalisation, in my case I chose ‘metal detect’ as it is my dad’s main hobby.
The mug comes holds 11oz (330ml), weighs approximately 340g and is dishwasher and microwave safe. Along with the mug, there are some extra options including a presentation gift box, jelly beans or milk chocolates to fill the mug and a matching coaster.
Keep Calm and “Any Caption” Coaster – Black
I have already mentioned that along with the personalised mug I picked out for my Dad, there is a matching “Keep Calm and” coaster. Of course, I chose the matching ‘metal detect’ personalisation.
The personalised coasters measure 9x9cm, are made from hardboard, have a high gloss finish and have a heat resistant gloss coating so it’s perfect for putting your hot cup of coffee or tea down.
Moustaches Pattern Wrapping Paper
You can’t really give a gift without having some sort of wrapping paper, and luckily Printster offers some great personalised and themed options available in six sizes so whatever size your gift you are covered. I really love this moustache patterned wrapping paper which is perfect for Father’s Day and I look forward to presenting my personalised mug gift to my dad in this wrapping paper.

Of course, if you’ve wrapped your gift you will want to have a gift tag so your recipient knows who the gift is from. These gift tags match the Moustaches Pattern Wrapping Paper so it was the easy choice! They are approx 70x65mm when folded with plenty of space to write a message.
Overall I am really happy with the items I picked out. They are top quality, offer fun personalised elements and are really affordable. I look forward to seeing how my Dad reacts on 19th June. I award Printster 5 of 5 stars.
