Review: Personalised Wine Butler from Personalised Gifts Market

At the end of last year, before the craziness of lockdown took over, I set myself a DIY project – to turn a wall unit that I found at a local charity shop into a sexy shabby chic bar complete with 1920’s style glam wallpaper.

Although it’s not quite finished yet (I still need to wallpaper 2 of the 3 shelves) I have already started filling it with bottles of my favourite tipples and accessories to help me make cocktails etc. So when I was offered the chance to pick a personalised item from the range at Personalised Gifts Market to review I went for something to add to the bar.

I went for the personalised Wine Butler for four wine glasses which is made from 3.6mm thick Plywood hardwood at 23cmx23cm insize making it a functional, yet elegant accessory which makes carrying and serving your wine and glasses easy. You can choose to personalise the butler with an engraved name/date for a gift, or like me choose something that fits your personality – mine says ‘It’s time for wine!’

The wine butler adds a little bit of fun to my bar, as well as offering a practical way of moving wine and glasses over to the coffee table when my friends and family (or right now, just my housemate thanks to lockdown), want to share a bottle together.

One word of warning, it might be obvious but make sure you add/remove the wine glasses by opposites as the butler is delicately balanced and adding/removing glasses haphazardly could result in broken wine glasses – not a good start to a relaxed evening.

Overall I think the personalised wine butler from Personalised Gift Market is great fun and would make a super cute gift for any wine lover.
