Review: Yunke Shower Organiser Caddy

During lock down a lot of people are taking the opportunity to upgrade their homes and gardens. I have been making a few tweaks to my home, not only because of the lock down but because a friend of mine moved in with me in February and I’ve been making a few changes to make her feel more at home.

One of these things was to upgrade my shower storage as my previous metal one had become rusty and a bit gross and my friend is a bit of a clean freak(!) so I browsed Amazon and found the Yunke Shower Organiser Caddy which seemed to be the perfect fit.

I keep quite a few bits and pieces in the shower; shampoo and conditioner bottles and bars, body washes, face scrubs and a razor so I knew I needed an organiser big enough to hold all these things. I also wanted to make sure the new caddy wouldn’t rust like the old one and it would have to be easy to install and take up minimal space in the shower.

The Yunke Shower Caddy comes with 2 shelves which is perfect for me as my friend and I could have 1 each. The caddy uses adhesive stickers with hooks for fast and simple installation, with no need for drilling and no damage made to walls. The adhesive works on any non-porous/ smooth and flat surface like ceramic tile, granite, stainless steel, acrylic, laminate and any non-porous surface with glossy finish.

To install simply clean the wall, mark where you wish to position the hooks and position the sticker where you want it, remove the backing tape and press to stick fast to the wall. Finally, clip the caddy into the hooks. Be sure to place the stickers with the hooks upwards rather than downwards to ensure the caddy remains in place. It’s best to wait for a few minutes before putting heavy items on it, the caddy can hold up to 5kg(11lb).

This seems obvious, but I placed the sticker without thinking the first time and had it the wrong way up! Luckily it is possible to remove and reposition the sticker! I managed to find the perfect height in the shower, it is very to have everything instantly to hand when you shower, with no bending to the floor or over reaching to distant shelves or cabinets etc.

The Yunke Shower Caddy is rustproof, it is made from stainless steel and is designed with plenty of drainage so that water runs right through it and doesn’t pool, potentially causing damage. This also allows your bottles etc to dry between uses.

I like the little fence that goes around the outside of the shower caddy shelves which ensures that any bottles etc stay put and do not fall off which is handy as I often found that my shampoo bars would roll off of my old caddy and would smash into a million small pieces!

So far I have found the Yunke Shower Caddy to be very handy, compact and holds all my bits and bobs without any trouble. I award if 5 out of 5 stars.
