Review: Yvette Sports Bras
If there’s one thing I know about exercising as a curvy lady it’s that having the right sports bra is a must. Despite best efforts to get into shape, continuous and repetitive movements can result in soreness, pain, and sagging.
I know from personal experience that getting on the treadmill or cross-trainer without considering the effect that working out has on breasts can result in some painful results.
Sports bras are designed to reduce movement during exercise. Ligaments near the breast give them their size and shape and these ligaments can break down and cause sagging without proper support.
It doesn’t matter what size your breasts are everyone experiences bouncing during physical activity so every woman should wear a sports bra while running or exercising.
There are three different types of sports bras:
- Compression bras – these compress the breasts against the chest to restrict movement.
- Encapsulation bras – these have individual cups, with each one surrounding and supporting each breast.
- Combination bras – these combine compression with individual cups and offer the most support.
As someone who has experienced post-exercise discomfort, I was happy to hear from Yvette, a professional women’s sportswear brand, who offered me the chance to try out three of their sports bras.
Yvette aims to provide high-quality, professional, and stylish sports apparel as well as attentive customer service. They believe each woman should have properly sized sports bras. According to their founder, Julia, even a tiny 3mm production error will make a sports bra uncomfortable.
That’s why Yvette’s sports bras accommodate women of different sizes from petite size to plus size with their sports bras offered in a range of 12 sizes, with some subdivided sizes resulting in a total of 70 options.

Pull up With a Zip
I love a convenient front zip on a sports bra. This sports bra is designed to be a high-impact sports bra and offers high support while you are running, training, and working out. It offers a wireless design, non-removable molded cups, and double antiskid shoulder straps in a classic racerback design. It includes breathable mesh panels front and back which wicks sweat quickly, keeping you cool and dry.
I love the overall design and features of this bra. The mesh panels really do help keep you cool and dry while exercising and the double straps make it feel secure. The fabric is soft and doesn’t irritate my skin during movement which is a massive bonus for someone with sensitive skin. This sports bra comes in 4 colours: black, coral, red and dark grey.
Limitless Zip Front Criss Cross
The limitless zip front crisis cross sports bra offers is designed for high-impact sports and is perfect for running, HIIT, and other gym workouts. Like the pull up with a zip bra it has impressive moisture management technology thanks to the COOLUX™ sweat-wicking fabric and air holes panel. Again, it has a super convenient front zip and non-removable molded cups.
I particularly love the double criss-cross straps which are really stylish as well as offering better support and freedom of movement. Again the limitless bra is great at helping you to keep cool and dry while exercising. It comes in 4 colours: orange, black, printed and burgundy.
Echo for a Green Earth
The eco bra is based on Yvette’s most classic power back bra and offers reliable support with a criss-cross back. Again, it is perfect for running, HIIT and gym workouts. The Echo bra has non-removable molded cups, double criss-cross straps, air holes for cooling, and a v-shaped neckline.
I really love that this sports bra is made from 75% recycled polyester and is part of the eco range. Despite being made from mostly recycled materials you can’t tell the difference in the fabric when compared to the other bras. The straps are very comfortable and relieve pressure on my shoulders as well as forming a really attractive diamond shape.
Overall I have found the sports bras from Yvette to be made from top quality materials, all three are great at keeping me cool while I am exercising and offer comfortable support with gentle fabrics which don’t irritate my skin. I would be happy to recommend Yvette sports bras and award them 5 out of 5 stars.
